How are you? What have you been up to? I am here for all of it: the good, the not so good and the downright scary.
Before that unexpectedly long break I didn’t feel like me anymore.
I had been “Eliza the business owner” for so long I had forgotten who “Eliza the human” was.
In the six months I’ve been absent from here, here’s what I discovered:
– I have hobbies!
I always felt The Flow Society was my hobby, but I discovered so much peace while gardening and sewing. They are the most wonderful salve the current scary uncertainty in life.
– Despite always striving to be the kindest me I can be, that wasn’t extending to how I allowed others to treat me.
I will continue to reflect on my contributions to these situations, and always be aware of bad days. But I am also going to walk away from people who aren’t kind, as I am done feeling awful due to other’s unkindess.
– I will continue to speak up and help others.
I have long been a donator of time and money to organisations that help others, but rarely speak about it. I think in a time when empathy seems to be at an all time low, one thing I can do is share ways to make life better for all of us.
– I will be more authentically me
Although hard to do in business, I realised that I was so worried about putting people offside I was never truly myself. Thanks to all of the above I am excited (and a bit nervous) about showing up as myself.
What does this mean for you?
I am creating a new offer suite because I no longer feel aligned to what I was offering.
The new offers will be more accessible and will be laser focused on improving your business’ profit.
I am pumped AF about it!
